genome Some choice cuts from NSC:

"Never in my life have I experienced a more disappointing promotion."
"bloody massive winning the title in this tough division and we completely wasted it....what a shambolic end unreal."
"Water bombs full of piss for the big parade. It better not be an open top bus."
"THREE opportunities to be champions. What a monumentally oxf*rd anticlimax after securing promotion."
"We are bottlers"

The use "Oxf*rd" over there? Also lol at them experiencing promotion...

Haha you Oxf*rd idiot, why would they use that filter? They may use Pal*ce or Palarse though

... Woosh

Do you mean that Brighton lost a 7 point lead to throw away the championship and don't therefore get their hands on that coveted 'tin pot' that we've won twice in the last 11 seasons?

Jesus! I'd be pissed off but I'm not sure I'd go that far. I'd let the fact that we were promoted console me somewhat.

There must be others being a bit more reasonable, surely?

After browsing the Fulham message board we are oxf*rd. They are already talking about allocations given for the final and comments around highest aggregate 2 leg game.

Oh well, it's been a good season.

Aggregate? You mean Fulham don't automatically advance to the final? Why go through the formality of a semifinal when we are in a false position and Fulham are the best team in the league?

We are the big outsiders in the betting markets too. You can currently get 5/1 on bet365. Next is Huddersfield at 11/3, Wednesday at 5/2 and then Fulham favourites at 7/4. Very odd.

They've pissed off a lot of Wednesday fans with their arrogance (ironic).

On their day they are very, very good, but I think they've bought into the media arse licking hype more than anyone else.

They're 6th for a reason.

I agree. I've stuck £100 down. If we win in it might just cover my football loses this season. I haven't won a penny all year.

"Presenter" - you haven't mentioned Reading?
"Expert 2" - well all the teams stand a chance
"Presenter" - but Reading finished 3rd - surely they should be favourites?
"Expert 2" - well I think its well acknowledged that this year 3rd place was a false position
"Presenter" - Oh I see

There's a couple of what ifs here but if Fulham go up we could be looking at earning a few more Tiger Tokens next season

Hull
Middlesbrough
Sunderland
Reading
Sheff Wed
Huddersfield
Leeds
Norwich
Derby
Brentford
Preston
Cardiff
Aston Villa
Barnsley
Wolves
Ipswich
Bristol City
QPR
Birmingham
Burton
Nottm Forest
Sheff Utd
Bolton
Bradford

We've always been a bit marooned but I can remember easy trips to Swansea, West Brom, Leicester, Southampton, Stoke...

We'd best win this

it will be a hideously northern division next year if Fulham go up/ Millwall get beat. Basically be a tour of all the most dire parts of the country.

Would almost be looking at QPR and Brentford as allies in representing the south of the country.

We've got a lovely seafront Hound. If you play us in August you can enjoy the delights of fish and chips and a 99 at Roker/Seaburn.
Mind, play us in December/January and it'll be VERY cold; but you'll still have the pleasure of taking three points from The SOL unless things change dramatically.
