CountryRoyal I prticularly enjoyed this from owlstalkI'm not sure why I'm posting in here as we might not be playing them yet.
But there's something about them ...that makes them the team I least want to face. It's not just the fact they have already beaten us. I thought we had every chance to win both of those games ourselves.
But there's something about them. Stam puts me about. Those sharp eyes. The cold stare of a serial killer.
Stam and his team make me feel uneasy.
Though Reading does as a whole.
In my head they're a 3rd and 4th division club. They're an anomaly , a glitch in the system. This isn't a 'Reading tho' sensation. I feel like I'm trapped a programme where the details aren't quite right.
Oh, and that Kermorgant. ... a middle aged journeyman, never done anything of note. But I see him....and I find I'm holding my breath. I get a sinking sensation when the balls near him in the box, same as I used to with Ian Rush even though Rush was a class apart. It's that same feeling.
There. That's got that out of my system.

Top Flight Absolutely! Cairney, Sessegnon, Fredriks, Bettinelli, Martin, these players are unbelievable. We have no chance against them. They'll be able to beat us without breaking into a sweat. They should walk it. They won't need to get out of second gear.

VisitingOwl Best of luck on Saturday I'll be cheering for you, as if we win too a Wednesday/Reading final would be a superb atmosphere. So long as you don't play your pop song - you know the one

VisitingOwl Just wanted to say that your fans have been classy in the run up to the playoffs, you've been humble and avoided being arrogant. Very sporting and honestly a good example to football fans of all clubs imo.

EpsomDave Hi just thought I'd make a comment about Fulham. Ever since Mohamed Al-Fayed took over ownership of Fulham the media have taken a dislike to the club. This has remained despite him selling the club 4 years ago.
This season Fulham went largely unnoticed until they won easily at Newcastle (the media's favourite championship side) a couple of months ago.
Anyway I wish all sides the best of luck in the playoffs and whoever goes up I hope they establish themselves in the top flight. It certainly won't be easy for any of the four teams.

You write for your local paper don't you ?
No mention of your son's haircut though.
Well done on your awards.
