All this talk of "it's a completely different game in the play-offs", "they were 6th for a reason", "the pressure will be on them" etc. just masks the fact that they are a damned good team, probably the best in the Championship in the last half of the season (no stats to back that up...)

"We have learned and improved since that 5-0" doesn't wash either. Only about a month ago we were hammered 7-1, and even after that, we were in danger of more humiliation at Forest. On our day, we are still capable of shipping shedloads.

So we'll play to keep it tight at the Cottage, come away with a plucky 1-1 draw, only for Fulham to win it at the Madejski. Our much hyped home record will come to naught in the face of a team that's beaten Newcastle, Huddersfield and Sheff Wed (among others) away from home with some ease in the last few months.

Not that form over 23 games has any more to do with what will happen now compared to form over 46 games. Far more relevant would be 6-12 games. We have the edge over the longer end, they have it at the shorter end.

I think the away leg will be far closer than the 5-0 defeat we had. I think neither side will want to lose and think it will be a draw (2-2).

The home leg could go either way in my opinion. I think we will grind it out and nick it 2-1 at home.

It will be a very close tie and think the winner will go all the way.

Those numbers seem bizarre to me as they mean RFC got 40 points the first 23 games then 42 (fifth for the second half) yet ended up third. I guess that is the implosion of Huddersfield and Leeds?

Interestingly we have more clean sheets than Fulham!

Fulham's 2.04 ppg equates to a smidgeon less than 94 for the season (what Newcastle got) so it's fair to say that in the second half f the season they were "the best team".

Maybe that's why they're over confident. I was overconfident in our first couple of play off campaigns. Since experiencing 5 disappointments in the play offs I no longer expect anything out of the play offs. At most a nice day out at Wembley.

Could easily win this but could easily lose. Fulham aren't as amazing as people seem to make out that they are, they have just remained steady and waited for someone to implode, which Leeds did.

Their home form is patchy this season, just 10 wins there and we have won 10 away despite all the stuffings.

Can't see us losing the home leg, so my view:
