Say what you like about Reading and Fulham but they have had at least one proper row in the last few years.

Saw half a dozen Fulham fans kicking wing mirrors off cars in Hartland Road last night whilst shouting FUKK OFF READING. Really wanted to knock them all out but unfortunately I'm too weak.

St Pauli I don't think they'd have called all them out for no reason, policing like that costs a pretty penny.
Don't they get the club to pick up the tab for matchday policing? - If so, overkill is exactly what they want as it means more money for them.

My most recent middle class realisation moment came in the North Stand last season during a midweek match, when I overhead one middle ager turning to his mucker, both in expensive brogues, cords and North Face coats, saying he has had a nightmare week because he has had to let the au pair go as she wasn't pulling her weight. It had been a harrowing experience for him to have to give her her cards but it had to be done.

Kids were called something like Amelia and Piers.

These are the kind of scum you get in the North Stand these days.

Funny how we are seen as a middle class sort of fan base at times when many from out of the town think it's full of rough chavs -

Mind you, walking trough town and you can see why people form that view.

Tens of people approach you for change, homeless people, general sh1t bag types

Saw about 5 reading fans confront 1 fulham fan by the bus stops at the stadium.

That is about as adventurous as it gets from Reading fans

Or if you look at our away following, more remedial class than middle class

I think you are right and I also think the police have the right to dictate how many of them are required to police matches. Looks like TVP decided to cash in last night and help bridge their funding gap. It was FFC FFS!
