Roar on the Royals Possibly Huddersfield due to their lack of experience in the play-off final

At this level yes, but they have been in 4 lower level finals, winning 3 of them.

I am leaning towards Huddersfield because their fans are a sound bunch and if we were to lose the final I wouldn't mind them getting promoted.

Some nice comments: http://downatthemac.proboards.com/threa ... reading-fc

Obviously, when it comes to match day I hope they lose a million nil, though.

Agreed. Sheff Wednesday just seem a bit up themselves. Huddersfield come across as alright.

Samrfc01 Huddersfield.

They're fans are a nice bunch and I would be less pissed off losing to them than Sheff Wed, who are a bunch of arrogant arseholes.

Also would create the ultimate tinpot final just to piss off fans of every other club.

Living just south of Sheffield, I am desperate for Huddersfield to win. As I've mentioned before, I know far too many Wednesday fans who think they deserve CL football every year due to their 'size' and 'history'. They have a ridiculous chip on their shoulder about clubs like us 'doing well'. The thought of us losing to them in the final fills me with dread. To see them lose tonight, and miss out for the 2nd year in a row would be perfect!! Plus the 'Tin Pot' final would be hilarious!! The gnashing of teeth in West London and West Sheffield would be enormous!!

Either of them. Just a shame Leeds aren't in the play-offs, would have loved to beat them at Wembley.

But whoever we are going to play in the final I am quietly confident we could win, it's not like facing Swansea a few years back which they were clearly the favourites...

What about Sheffield Wednesday's recent experience in playoff finals?

I forgot how much I hate their 'awensdaway' chant. They deserve to be disqualified from promotion for that alone.

Commentator rambling about how Wendesday are such an iconic club, who need to be back in the Premier League

Would love to see Huddersfield win so the media has to pretend to be excited about the tinpot final

terrier88 Well done Reading, brilliant performance over the two legs, hope we can beat the MASSIVE and see you in the final, if not will be 100% behind you lot. Anyway once again well done and glad that you got what you deserved after a long hard fought season!

I voted don't care... but that's swung me towards Huddersfield.

I don't really have anything against either. I've got a mate who supports Wednesday, so it'd be nice to see his team get to the final. But I'd like to see Huddersfield get up into the PL and mix it with the big boys (not over us, obviously). I don't think either present a significantly harder or easier challenge than the other. It's going to be hard which ever, as it always is and should be in a Play Off Final.

Obviously I'd be delighted to take on Reading as their opposition in the final, it'd be nice to guarantee seeing us win there.

Reading the Huddersfield forum there's a few comments about the game being "torture".

Boy am I glad we got our semi out of the way yesterday

No no no no no no no no
I can't take it being Wednesday. Not them. Losing to them at Wembley would be my worst footballing moment......and I include watching us under TB1 and 2 in that!!

Huddersfield panicking a bit - rushing everything

Can't see them equalising unfortunately as they are clearly a much more decent bunch than Weds
