I have no problem with standing on a train but anyone how long queues are likely to be to get on?

Haven't decided yet. Was originally thinking of coming from Chesvegas on the train, but prices have reached rip-off levels already! So probably driving to Watford and train/tubing it in.....Did that for Arsenal and it was very easy. Might drive down to Wycombe and go that way instead......but I dunno if I can be arsed with the queues afterwards!! I would drive to Wembley, as I have done for my recent visits but got stung in March with a parking ticket after the Eng v Lith game......Can't really be arsed with all that again!!

genome Would be funny if Ian Royal offers someone a lift and therefore makes his poll option actually valid

Don't have a car, sorry.

And I'm catching the Cambridge -> Kings Cross and then
Circle to Baker St,
Bakerloo to Marylebone
Chiltern Railway to Wembley Stadium

Less of a ballache to get the Metropolitan Line straight from King's Cross to Wembley Park then 5/10 minute walk

Currently planning on meeting someone who's coming from ding on the way and Marylebone is probably the best option for that.

The yellowy coloured line will take you on a circuit of London, you need to take the orange one (Hammersmith and City near platform 14)

Amirite in assuming police & stewards shut these green routes off after the game and force us all to queue down to the station?

There's no mention of any route closures in that article, it just says that the standard exit route is down Wembley way which can take a while to get clear.

Yes, everyone going to Wembley Park has to go down Wembley Way. The queues can be annoying as they hold it back intermittently to allow the station to clear. For the England-Scotland game this season I seem to remember leaving the stadium later than usual and it was worse than ever... Though saying that, definitely for Arsenal, and I think for Scotland too I couldn't believe how empty the carriages were when finally getting on . I think it was busier the other side.

Not that i'm going to care if we win!

Haven't decide yet, but this might help a few people.

Work your way down the page a little past the seating plans.

Just a note about using High Wycombe to Wembley. national Rail Journey planner shows no trains on Monday between 12:30 and 13:32. This may not prove to be the best route

Guess I'll have to drive to Didcot
or drive to the new Oxford Parkway station and get a train direct to Marylebone (passing through Wembley Station on the way)

What about South West trains? Drive to somewhere like Andover? Before you dismiss it out of hand, just consider the Jubilee line connection at Waterloo which might make this worth considering.

That would work but the journey time is horrible and I need to get to go via Marylebone
