I'm feeling very pessimistic.

Reading 49-2 Huddersfield

pwb Not going to predict a score, but I am just saying 3-0 to the East end of Wembley. Manchester United, Millwall, Arsenal so here's to Blackpool tomorrow. :D

Well that's 4-0 to the East stand, Manchester United, Millwall, Arsenal and now Blackpool, it's now up to to Reading FC to make it a clean sweep for this year's finals at Wembley.

Not sure how to call this - I watched both league games as was on business in the area for the midweek away game and we were unlucky to lose.

Wells has been the main reason we've lost games to them in the past but its been noticeable he's not been so effective against us this season - because we have more pace at the back now.

One thing is certain though - Stam has played in champions league finals, league deciders, etc and worked with the best in the game; so we could have a slight edge on preparation.

Either fairly confident or barking. However, I'm going with 3-0 to us. Just feel we've got more big game players in our squad. Scorers? No real inkling and to be honest, who cares?

I honestly couldn't call it.

However, I do think whoever scores first will go on to win. And I don't think it will go to pens.

Not expecting a goalfest and reckon it will go to penalties. Good news is that we have a great shot stopper.

Had a dream we were down 2-0 in the 69th minute. woke up before the end of the game. so who knows

This game really could go either way. I don't want pens what so ever. fuck that.

Would love a comfortable win, just cannot see that happening

My sentiments exactly ... hence why I am staying at home ... to be fair I do live about 5545 miles from London.

Convinced it will be 1-1 and ET. After that, it is a matter of will. May even go to pens and then God help us all. Rebounds don't count, do they?

Did anyone else notice Arsenal, Chelsea, Blackpool and Exeter players looking very tired during their finals over the last two days. One Exeter player was already suffering cramp after just 60 minutes. Arsenal looked shattered. The Wembley pitch looks quite draining and energy sapping. Could that work in our favour? Huddersfields high energy game could see them burned out by the hour mark.

I predict us to move them about the pitch in the first hour, hold tight and steady and deliver the knockout blow when they are feeling wary in the last twenty minutes. GMAC to net the winner on 73 minutes. Huddersfield too tired to fight back. One nil Reading.

That is kind of how the Bolton game went.

Wagner was on the local news up here this morning basically saying that other than Reading fans, everyone else supports Huddersfield as they are the fairy tale like Leicester last year.

Let's hope we piss them all off then.

Suspect that in reality most other fans aren't that bothered, not really seen a huge swell of support building across the nation for plucky old Huddersfield. But it's part of Wagner's strategy and whether it's true or not isn't the point. Most Premiership fans will just see whoever wins as 6 points already in the bag.

Ian Royal Could we win and then let Huddersfield go up to the PL shitshow anyway?

29th May 2017 is a date that will be forever etched in my memory.

As the first time I have agreed with something Ian Royal said.
