Surely that's his final chance. And for just £2k, must be earning close to that a week now. He'd had a decent season as well.
he was being paid minimum wage when at Blackpool so wouldn't be sure he is on big wages now

Bracknell News FORMER Reading FC forward Hal Robson-Kanu has landed himself in hot water after he was accused of land grabbing by a local authority.
The striker, who currently plays for Premier League outfit West Bromwich Albion, bought a plush mansion in the heart of an exclusive area in Ascot in 2012.
However, the 28-year-old, who is currently away on international duty with Wales, put up a fence around the rear of his garden without official planning permission.
Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) officers have slapped a notice on the gates of Robson-Kanu's Alderson Court property demanding he attends a public enquiry on September 12.
The notice states that the fencing takes up greenbelt land.
Now Robson-Kanu, who racked up 228 appearances for the Royals and is perhaps best known for his iconic goal for Wales against Belgium in last year's European Championships, will argue the council should grant him retrospective planning permission.
BFC has been approached for a comment.

Well, he's been sentenced to nine years in an Italian prison, but he isn't in Italy, and is appealing. Has claimed he wasn't present at all.
