As someone else pointed out on another thread, in little more than week we've gone from marquee signings like Darlow and Oliviera to what most people would see as nondescript also rans like Button and Bodvarsson. Just goes to show that we have nothing to worry about with the new owners breaking the "Reading way"

Anyone got a Brentford supporting mate who can give a decent low down on Mr Button

I just find it mildly stunning that people are criticising the club over players that we don't even know we are realistically going to sign.

It's not like we've been offered Oliveira and Bodvarsson at the same price/wages and opted for Bodvarsson

Obviously he didn't have a great year at Fulham last year, but before that he was pretty well rated. Had 3 good years at Brentford, and is a good age for a keeper. I'm sure he'd love to come if he is no longer first choice at Fulham.

I'd eb happy enough to see him come actually. Certainly if the Darlow fee/wages spiral beyond 5 million etc
