I'm expecting a tough game tomorrow and I would like to get something from the game. It's the Reading way that after such a convincing win on Tuesday, we could bring back to earth with a bang.

This season BBC Berks. have had the game commentary on their website for all the games, so far. I assume Ifollow do not have an exclusive clause. Unless, of course, someone at BBCRB forgets to switch the internet link off, as the Radio Berks website still says NOT online every game. Be interesting to know if any other clubs have commentaries on their websites this season.

Which app?

Bbc radion which requires bbcmediaI believe.

I've notused my phone, but if it's available on the net, which it has been, then there's no reason the Iplayer or radio equiv shouldn't work.

I don't know if the stats support my gut feeling, but it seems like we usually take a proper hiding when we travel up north.

Backing us to buck the trend with a fortunate 2-1 win. Two goals early on for us, they get one back around half time and we cling on for the win.

Came up last night, after many hours in traffic which the team probably also endured, I can't see us doing too well but there's always hope that our away form will pick up one day and we hopefully can't be worse than that QPR performance.

Thanks. I shall check that out today as I'm likely to be out of the region but have a couple of radio apps on my phone. Sod's law says today's the day that they switch off at 3pm again though :D

one change- Bacuna starts- no JVB
Reading starting XI vs Preston: Mannone, Gunter, Blackett, McShane (c), Moore, Bacuna, Kelly, Swift, Barrow, Popa, Clement.
Reading subs vs Preston: Jaakkola, Beerens, Evans, Mendes, McCleary, Ilori, Quinn

Sounds like Liam Moore's injured himself in the warm up according to BBCRB

Does look a strong team. So Stam sees Bacuna as competition for Evans / Berg in the combative midfield place.

Obviously still with no striker, but Barrow, Clement, Popa, with Swift in midfield is actually a pretty creative and attacking group of players
