Snowflake Royal Evans! Woop woop!

Down to the last 3 minutes of injury time. Looks like that not only have Reading managed to score away from home for the first time, it also looks like the first clean sheet has been achieved.

Sounds like the team have also given a good solid defensive performance throughout the afternoon

Two weeks off before Bristol City to rest, recuperate and hopefully get that striker on board....

peep peep peeeeeeeeep
FT 0-2

8)

Solid midfield and an actual striker upfront and funnily enough we get a decent result away.

Very professional away performance. On top throughout and maybe could have scored a couple more.

Bodvarsson, Barrow, and Bacuna all excellent. This apparent approach of looking for undervalued players with PL/Championship experience is paying off quite nicely.

Just caught the highlights. Looked like we were pretty much untroubled and could and should have scored earlier and more.

Very promising signs.

Poor tax dodger arry.....Bet he wishes he retired rather than try and squeeze that last few quid out of his latest mugs of a club that employed him.

So that brings our start to the season to W4 D1 L2 in all competitions. Not too shabby

And when you consider that Fulham was a win all the way until one moment of madness, we're just two poor, injury hit, underprepared away performances off of a most excellent start.

Quite a tough start on paper as well. Would have taken 7 points from those first 5 games

West Stand Man Oh well. It was good while it lasted. BBC seems to have realised that it had forgotten to block the transmission of our commentary on iPlayer or the interweb. Got to half time and then off it went.

Even more thankful that I can listen on Freeview now, couldn't really believe it had been available online in the first place. Switched on just seconds after we took the lead, Jonny Saunders & Adie as the commentary team
Really pleasing result, would say i'm shocked but I liked our team and we had options on the bench too. During the period I listened I thought back to the Cardiff game this time last year. At the time it felt like that was the start of something, (on way back home from work 2nd half I felt more positive than I had been for ages - and we went on to win with a late Kermorgant goal) and this feels similar.

Especially when I would back us to win the next 3 games.

What's also quite nice is that we're 7 games into the season and all 5 summer signings have already made a positive contribution.

What an outstanding performance. We controlled it from start to finish and were very patient. When the opportunities finally came we were ruthless.

On reflection I was really pleased with the look of the interplay between Bodvarsson, Barrow, Kelly and to a slightly lesser extent Bacuna.

They worked some really nice angles, flick ons and through balls.

Just like we did on Tuesday except with Popa, Clement, Barrow and Bacuna.
Throw in Swift and we've got almost endless permutations available....

A point people seem to have missed with these "winger" signings. We now have a number of strong options in the key part of the pitch and can mix them up game by game. Keeps them fresh and harder for teams to scout when they can't be sure who will start.

Indeed. Almost like Stam and BT know what they are doing bringing them in
