Stranded
maffff Another bid rejected for Hemed.

Looks like we're back into exploring other options again then.

Only a day lost.

I would say we are still looking at a number of options, and will progress the one that gets the most traction. Still wouldn't surprise me if something comes out of the blue tomorrow.

Another rumour is a move for a certain Hal Robson-Kanu....

Apparently that's already gone - dipping into their January funds?

I knew it was bad, not that bad though... maybe there's still hope for Oliveira afterall.

Definite no thank you to that one either way

Derby in for Jerome. Could well spell the end of our hopes on this.

Doubt the deal will happen anyway. Think we'll get Hugill, if not, probably a striker we've not even been linked with yet

TBF I'm just pleasantly surprised that Aluko wasn't the end of our business.
If we have the money, then for a player Stam wants and would be the final piece of the jigsaw I think it'd be fair enough to pull the trigger at £10 million.

Swansea now interested. If we loose out on what should have been the number one target all summer then I will be annoyed. We've made some great signings and this should be the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle.

Then again could this all be agent talk to try and push us into making a move?

Can't see Swansea signing him as well as Boney though so suspect their interest isn't much more than a backup in case Boney doesn't happen.
Even if we don't sign anyone today we're looking much stronger than last season, anything today is a bonus rather than essential.

Yes, they've agreed to stock a few cans of Carabao in the drinks dispensing machine at their training ground.

Pairoj, who set up the deal that saw the arabs buy City then brokered the deal for the Thai's to buy us and became a director last year. Not sure how closely he is still around but there is a strong top level connection there...

Stop it! Far too early for this type of head rush. Wilfried Bony to Reading on loan… oh my days that would be mental.
