Actually for the record the concept pre-dates JSK. It comes from our former player Andy Bernal. It was the stuff of Reading legend that he was a voyeur and used to watch women while hiding in a bush.

"Bernal, a former Reading player, was seen attempting to spy on a middle-aged woman from bushes outside her home in Reading, Berkshire.

He fled when police were called but officers found a collection of pornographic cuttings in the bushes where he had been and picked up a container of baby oil on the route he took. Police said he told officers that he had just been out for a jog but got lost."

The phrase - look out for Bernal in the bush etc gradually became used on transfer deadline day, as Reading have long conducted their business openly in the hotel bar.

Eventually with twitter and the younger generation it became bushwatch - and went massive when this JSK character picked up on the concept of hiding in the bushes.
