Sanguine Crazy that Argentina struggle so much with Dybala, Messi and Aguero to call on.

I work with an Argie, who is from near Rosario and support NOB (lol) so has a lot of love for Messi but recently told me how it is all about Dybala these days and people in Argentina are tired of Messi not delivering for the national team. I was somewhat  as we would f*cking kill for someone with half his talent!

Heard a good stat yesterday - in one of the seasons that Guardiola was managing Bayern if they had conceded every shot on target against them they would still have won the league.

A worldie from Levante centre-back Chema Rodriguez, a Zidane-esque volley.

He has form in this, here's a volley from last season.

PSG ask Cavani to give up being the club's penalty taker and hand it over to Neymar, he says no. PSG offer Cavani his contracted €1M bonus for scoring 30 goals in a season to give up being the club's penalty taker, he says no.

French press have also been reporting that Neymar has spoken to the club's owner and asked that he sell Cavani.

Loving the fact that Madrid are seemingly faltering already, whilst paulinho (yes THAT Tottenham reject) has somehow become the new xavi

According to the press Cavani said to Neymar "Who do you think you are? Messi?"

I'm wondering where 'independence' for Catalonia leaves FC Barcelona?

Kicked out of the Spanish League and with it the CL as well?

Bartomeu claimed a few days ago that if they do gain independence then Girona, Espanyol and Barca can choose themselves whether they want to join the Italian, French or English league. which made me lol. It's like he is trying his best to enrage Espanyol fans.

Barca are worth way too much to La Liga for them to let them go

this is true, but it is also acknowledged just how much of an influence the Spanish government has in Real Madrid. They to all intense and purposes back them financially.

Could get interesting. If Barcelona are backing independence (as they appeared to at the weekend) it would seem a bit two faced for them to then want to carry on playing in La Liga. ?

Ostersunds FK in Sweden,

Graham Potter, a former Royal, took over as manager 7 years ago when they were in the 4th division. In that time he has got them promoted 3 times and they are now in the top division, won the Swedish Cup and has now qualified them for the Europa League where they have beaten Galatasaray & Hertha Berlin so far this season.

Not Europe, but I was pleased to see that the "aptly named" Super Power Samut Prakan of the Thai Premier League notched up a win last week. They lost their first game, drew their 2nd, then lost 27 games in row, before their 3-2 win v Thai Navy.
