Norwich City Saturday Crowd and Score Predictions

by Gunny Fishcake » 28 Sep 2017 12:48

I think we'll see the lowest Championship crowd on Saturday for many years, team playing woefully, game on Sky with a late kick off.

I'll go for 14,567 with many falling asleep in the first half as we don't score goals anymore in the first half, and a final score of 0-2 to Norwich.

Does anyone know if/and what time the outer buses are running for a 5:30 ko?

I usually get the F23.

Crowd about 14k

Dismal game settled by one goal

Just to be different going to say 1-0 Reading, goal in first half from Edwards

reckon we'll line up:

Mannone
Gunter McShane Moore Blackett
Joey
Edwards Bacuna
Barrow Bodvarsson Aluko

Anssi, Kelly, Swift, Evans, McCleary, Beerens, Ilori

Usual rules apply - it would be highlighted on the Reading Bus web page if there was anything different.

Therefore there will be buses, and the time will be adjusted by the difference between normal kickoff time and revised. i.e., the bus will be 2.5 hours later than normal time.

I think the stands will be relatively bare (but the BS figures will sound OKish)

Head-wise - I am seriously worried we will have another bad day at the office and concede
at least a goal each half, maybe a late third.

I see they have only conceded one goal in their last 6 games!

But I am going to go with my heart and say we somehow scrape a 1-0 win
with a goal late in the first half. Bod if he starts, otherwise Aluko

Norwich haven`t let a league goal in for nearly 8 hours. with our powder puff attack I think we might get one but will need a clean sheet to win, and we rarely do them.

We can't score, they don't concede. It's got 3-3 written all over it...

Hard to see a positive result at the moment. Norwich don't seem to score a lot or concede a lot. We're rarely good on TV.

0-1
15,500 ish

If Stam plays the right side though, we could get something out of this. If Bodvarsson, Kelly, Barrow and Bacuna come back into the starting line up, I'd fancy a win (2-1:Barrow and Kelly)... but all four of them seems somewhat unlikely.

Norwich 1-0 win, Oliveira bagging the winner.

Less than 14,000 in but 'Official Figures' will state otherwise

Think you're underestimating how many Norwich will bring so going for 17,249 overall as the official figure, which will include all the season ticket holders who stay away.

A positive result would be actually starting with a striker.

This seems a good game for season ticket holders to take Stam's advice by staying away unless our current form makes you so deliriously happy that you can't stop cheering the team to the rafters.

On that basis, my seat's paid for and if the team looks like it's been picked by someone intent on getting a positive result, I can watch on telly happy in the knowledge that any negative comment made in Surrey won't be audible to sensitive ears in Berkshire. Sorted.

HT: 0-0

FT: Reading: 1 Norwich: 3

Norwich to score two goals at the start of the second half in quick succession. A third coming after 75 minutes and most of the ground gets up to leave.

Trying to rally late on, JDB to score a late consolation goal in front of the 2,000 home fans left inside the ground, with 3 minutes left to play. Aluko then hits the post and we have a corner cleared off the line after a bit of a school-playground style goalmouth scramble.
