I’d take a draw right now. In fact, I’d treat a 0-0 as a win! However I don’t see it happening!

It's good to see that we're in a "false position" again this season. But this time, the right way round.

Warburton said the same actually, so must be true.

Hound I’d keep Yann as sub until after the break tbh

The BBC text updates suggested Sam Smith came off with an injury, was this correct? It may have been a knock but I thought Yann may start one of the two games this week anyway. Seem to remember last season he didn't always start back to back games, sometimes resting him with another game in mind. It may depend on whether he can complete 90 mins though, as I suspect Stam would hope he would complete the majority of the match if he starts.

Smith, Kelly and Berg will all miss the game.

Bod is still out.

Presuming therefore, that Kermorgant is likely to start. If not expect another shot at Aluko, Beerens and Barrow up front and a return to the pathetic performances

On the Derby front, Russell is still a doubt while Darren Bent and Mason Bennett are both definitely out of the game.

Reading starting XI vs Derby: Mannone, Gunter, Richards, McShane (c), Moore, Edwards, Bacuna, Swift, Beerens, Barrow, Aluko.

Reading subs vs Derby: Jaakkola, Kermorgant, Clement, Blackett, Popa, Andresson, Barrett.

Aaarrrggghhh Beerens up front again. Why Jaap why?

Suppose all can hope for is keep it at 0-0 until Yann comes on

We get so many injuries....

Subs : Jaakkola, Blackett, Popa, Kermorgant, Clement, Andresson, Barrett

Given 12 senior players out, there really wasn’t much else left for Stam to pick

Things getting bad for Blackett with youngster Richards starting.

Sadly expecting another toothless performance perhaps picking up a bit when Kermorgant gets his half hour or so.

Is literally have started anyone over than Beerens up front, but yeah other than that can’t see he could have done anything much else

I’m assuming more than half these injured players will be back by Wolves

Blackett is really clearly in terrible form right now. I don't think this means he's behind Richards permanently and that his time is up, just that Stam's recognised that he shouldn't be playing until he can sort himself out.

Congratulations to Richards getting his first start. But going with no striker again is not great. Smith hasn't recovered then

Does Stam really want this job or is he just looking for a way out?

What the fcuk has Beeren's done in the last 12 month

If I was Popa, I'd have had that transfer request slapped on the table weeks ago .

Why has Bacuna who has been 'man of the match' in his only two appearances as right back been moved from right back again ?

On paper that looks a decent counter attacking side.
If we lose and put in a decent performance I won't mind. If we play like we have in the vast majority of away games I will not be pleased. Can't believe people think Kermy should start.....he looked off the pace against Forest and maybe it was just me, but he looked a bit porky as well.

Presumably moving to midfield as Joey is injured.

He's quite likely to even better there. Potentially a very good player in a far more influential area of the pitch. He was excellent there against Swansea so be interesting to see how he goes today

Can understand Bacuna going midfield being as Joey is out

+1 on the Popa for Beerens though
