Mid Sussex Royal The difficulty of getting past 106 is you literally have to keep it going until game 46 which is difficult if the league is wrapped up a few games before, this affected Northampton the other year who had a real chance well in to April.

The year we got 106, we managed to keep it going right until the end.

I also remember us seemingly destroying teams at times. Sheff Weds, Cardiff, Derby, Millwall spring to mind. I have not seen a team be so dominent in games since us back then. Cannot remember wolves turning anybody over.

We thrashed Cardiff home and away that season, they must have been sick of us.

Wasnt the one at home 5 or 6 nil?

I remember against millwall it was 5-0/1 at home. Adrian Sirioux had to go in goal when their keeper got sent off.

Lol, one team out of 23 providing 10% of our 99 goals.

Was Leeds the only team we didn't beat or was there someone like Watford or Stoke as well?

Yep, drew both games against Leeds and Watford, beat everyone else at least once.

Apart from them putting 4 past Leeds and 5 past Bolton, only conceding 2 goals in the process, not 2 weeks ago?

How are Brizzle not about 4 down vs Sheff Utd

Do watch them and wonder how they are third. But then I suppose the likes of Fulham, Brentford, Norwich and Preston would have wonders that about us last year

I believe they occupy the infamous false third.

Good win against S United!

Sheff U are on a poor run - do wonder if they can stay up there. Lacking in quality really

The sending off changed the game. No doubt Wilder will be absolutely fuming with the clown for that awful tackle

Interesting, too, how much the Bristol manager was under pressure.

Good results today, we maintain our 10 point lead over Birmingham and Bolton, 3 points on Monday gives us a healthy 13 point gap. more importantly up to 12th , 8 points off the play-offs.

Realistically if we win on Monday, relegation is off the cards

Was looking out more for the results of the likes of Derby and Boro, which didn’t go quite so well

Anyway irrelevant unless we go on a bit of a run ourselves

Win tonight and we will find ourselves just 4 points off 7th, a gap that we would have halved over 5 games. With Sheff Utd imploding at the moment (1pt from 12) then the 8pt gap to them suddenly doesn't seem that big, given it was 15pts after the Wolves game.

Derby and Villa meet on Saturday so in the unlikely event of us winning both games this week then come 5pm Saturday we could be just 5pts off the play-off places.

Need to get the result today of course but shows how quickly this division can change if you put together even a short run of good results.

my guess is Derby will stay in the play offs, and Villa probably have enough about them too. Cardiff and Wolves will be play offs at worst

Reckon both Brizzle and Sheff Utd are catchable still - though realistically we'd still need a pretty stunning run of form to get above not only them, but all the side between us and the play offs
