Sad to admit I enjoy watching Wolves this year. Good side

Do Sheff Weds count as our current rivals? Prob do, and they have been pretty rubbish - Carvalhal must be close to the boot

The last of it is drying on the faces of the supporters.

Had a quiet lol at Fulham for being the team to gift Sunderland their home win. Us, Fulham and Wednesday are having post playoff shockers this season. It's a funny old game.

Didn't notice Brum had dropped to the foot of the table. This is a pretty candid video, fair play to Cotterill and a couple of their players for not shying away from the fans: https://twitter.com/KingKieft/status/939915206150508545

Yes they won against promotion rivals sheffield weds. How bizarre. But i think their form took a downturn. Seems like we are the only team not to have sacked a manager after a bad run. Very brutal season this one.

How weird. Though Carvalhal was nailed on for the boot, but not Monk

Maybe the first time both managers get sacked after the same game :)

Sheff Weds are not promotion rivals DD. They are below us even

Don't even bother looking at the table anymore. I assumed they were in a better position then us. They seem to occupy false 3rd for most of the season.

Totally mad. Do the owners of football clubs care about the fans? Or is promotion to pocket a big cheque their only aim. No manager is going to help build a successful club in 6 months. Football is going the way of F1. Uncompetetive unless you've got the biggest budget.

Insane........

Seems like retaining Stam is the logical choice. As ultimately the most sucessfull clubs over a lengthy period of time have a stable management team. Stam himself isn't going anywhere either. As hasn't proved himself at all yet.

Why don't more clubs take the Bristol city route (which is what I call it now). Lee johnson was getting death threats and they had a pfucking abysmally bad run last year. He had time to build his squad, plucked a few players from L1 and 2 (Bobby reed etc) and they are 3rd. Surely owners must see that teams have a short term gain of good results when a new manager comes in but at the end of the days it is mostly the same squad.

Never thought I would say it but you are talking a lot of sense there.

......and wasn’t that once “the Reading way”?

(Thinks back to the criticism during our succession of 0-3’s during the Coppell tenure and the likes of Ivar and Sonko who were crucified by our decerning fans in there early games....it all came good in the end).

Steve Lansdown like SJM in the past. Has reached the point where there's not the money available to compete one suspects. Though money is being invested into the stadium.

I’d think it’d be very unlikely Stam is sacked any time soon.
