Going down would be a disaster. One which we may never recover from. Players on massive wages long term contracts owners who are not interested. We could have points deducted and before you know it we are Coventry 6k for home games against Bury. Been there and it wasn't nice.

Love all these comments that the owners are not interested. please give us a source of such breaking knowledge?
unfounded speculation and rubbish, don't make up stories if you don't know they are true.

Assuming we could get back up at the first or second time of asking, going down could be good for us. Assuming we came back up, it'd get us used to winning again. I think if we went down and bounced back quickly, we'd probably find ourselves competing for the POs in our first season back.

Obviously I don't want to go down... but I can see us gradually stagnating in the bottom half for years whilst building stupid debt and going down eventually anyway.

From what I recall, Saints, Leeds, Sheff Utd and Weds all took a fair few seasons to bounce back.

I think Norwich did it at the first go.

But they rebuilt their squads and are stronger for it now.

So losing to a league two side has no relevance?

Double D has changed. Thank god for that basically

I expect we’ll make a lot of changes. Anssi, Richards, Ilori, Blackett, Clement, Bod, Beerens and Popa May all well start. Not sure it will have much effect on Stam’s first 11

It has not been hacked. It is still my thumbs and brain. I have had somewhat of an epiphany!

They (Stevenage) only have to watch our last two home games to give themselves a fighting chance
