Snowflake Royal Assuming we could get back up at the first or second time of asking, going down could be good for us. Assuming we came back up, it'd get us used to winning again. I think if we went down and bounced back quickly, we'd probably find ourselves competing for the POs in our first season back.
Obviously I don't want to go down... but I can see us gradually stagnating in the bottom half for years whilst building stupid debt and going down eventually anyway.

From what I recall, Saints, Leeds, Sheff Utd and Weds all took a fair few seasons to bounce back.
I think Norwich did it at the first go.

Not with a weakened side no, in a dump of a stadium against a team that dont want to play football and just kick lumps out us
