I would worry about the financial viability of the club if we went down. There is also no guarantee that we would win promotion back to the Championship. Crowds would decline to 10k and possibly less which would make for an utterly dismal atmosphere.

If "weakened" means leaving out players out of form that he won't drop otherwise, then we may actually improve! He does seem to persevere with players who have done well for him before, regardless of current performance levels, way past the point where most supporters have lost patience.

Anssi, Gunter/Watson (if fit), Ilori, Blackett, Richards, Kelly, Evans, Edwards/Clement, Beerens, Dadi, Popa/McCleary

which is pretty reasonable. A few with a point to prove which might help
