FAO Season Ticket Holders - Renew or not?

Money talks, maybe this will have more effect than a Stam in/out poll.

Really not enjoying the whole experience of being a Reading fan at the moment but no doubt I'll end up renewing.

Yes. All day long. 370 quid for 23 games. Ride the horrible times, love the great times.

My son still loves it regardless so I will be going whatever happens. It is about him now, not me.

my season ticket is about more than football now, I enjoy the good times but at the moment I enjoy a day out with my old man, we stand at the bar before the game and throughout the majority of the second half.

I wouldn't change my Saturday for the world

Due to work commitments, bundles are the way to go. Bought two last season, one this, and, currently, have one game left. Used to be a season ticket holder for a long time and really enjoyed turning up, regardless of the result. For me, it feels as though any kind of interest and morale is, slowly but surely, being sucked out of the club.

Can I ask where abouts in the ground you sit? I have a similar view and wondered if this could affect it in some way.

Y25, John. Towards the front. I know we're going off topic, but why do you ask?

Just cos I often sit around that area, but due to my increased dislike for people and the general public, I might move to a corner of the West and sit on my own surrounded by seats.

Yes, no question.

The only thing that would question me renewing would be if Warnock was the manager, but even then I would probably still renew.

probably will for much the same reason as OMA - basically the kids like the day out, and the wife likes the lot of us out of the house.

Really would like it to be a bit more entertaining and upbeat though

If we did end up getting regulated we might be tempted to switch season tickets to the Women's Team - still supporting Reading FC I guess.

We would then go to all the Women's games and choose which men's games we went to. Currently we do the reverse.

Giving us the ability to select all 10 options was a stroke of genius.

Dunno, I've just moved and my rent's gone up just shy of £250 a month, so I'm not sure I can afford the best part of a grand a year to take ~6 days leave, lose half of 15 of my weekends and gwt depressed and frustrated surrounded by negative knobs.

Not if he's in charge. My time at weekends is precious. If we play well and lose fine.....but this sh&t is sending my blood pressure through the roof.

Forbury Lion Money talks, maybe this will have more effect than a Stam in/out poll.

Let's hope so!

I have paid for my seat for 18 years regardless of being able to attend regularly and only Japp Stam, along with the boards willingness to keep him in post, threatens to alter my desire to stump up £400 a year to support the club.

I would do so if we were in League 2 if it was still the club that got the best out of the resources at it's disposal. In this respect we appear to have been replaced by the likes of Brentford and Millwall while Swansea, Bournemouth and Brighton have left us trailing in their wake :|

If Stam stays and we go down, that's it for me and, I suspect, thousands of others.

Rarely do people become billionaires by accident so, if you really give a sh*t about this club and the money you have thrown at it, start communicating with the fanbase or prepare to watch a lot of that money going down the drain.

Nope not renewing. A ST isn’t particularly good value for me. I would have to to 20 home games to make it worthwhile compared to buying tickets on a match by match or bundle basis. I have already missed four this season.

Wont be renewing. What with bundles and Burton £5 there is no saving .
