Denver Royal CountryRoyal, that was a Stam interview from last weekend, right? It was discussed at length last week after the Millwall match. So, why do you feel the need to link to it again now, and what is your motivation for doing so? How does it help anything?

So you’re saying we’re not allowed to discuss things that have happened in the past?

Err ok.

Lidl’s? Would go as far as to say Waitrose’s

Amazingly bookmakers have us as low as 7/1 to get relegated .... just put a free £30 bet on us. I hope I will lose, but it will be a bit of a consolation if we do get relegated.

You can still get 9-1

It doesn't matter what we think about Stam.

Any other club and any other time in our history he'd have been out if only because we want him out.

And maybe it's a good thing this isn't any other club or any other time in our history.

With Gourlay allegedly we have a winner, with the owners we allegedly have a plan. There is something different about the way we are doing things. The season is screwed up. For whatever reason it is what it is.

I am resigned to the fact he's here. Many of us just called for change, whether it be a change of manager or his antics. He has shown that he is no longer wedded to the idea of possession crap and is trying to be more direct. Maybe that is all that was needed. In my mind it's too late to get rid now and we may as well see how it goes.

A wild guess is that the owners have some sort of a plan (Stam has said several times "I've had chats with the owners and we all know the situation") like "We won't sack you, we'll give you chance ten games into the new season. As long as if you don't turn things around you resign and save us the compensation, but if you do you can stay."

In Reading we trust.

PS I'm no longer hoping the team loses, as the only reason I was hoping that was to get rid of Stam (short term sacrifice for longer term gain). As he's not going I'm fully behind the team again. We're in a much more dangerous situation than we were then and going down is not an option. I can't tell people what to do but I'd suggest we just get behind the team now and see what happens.
