John Smith
CountryRoyal IMHO wearing a replica shirt (if not at all) over a long sleeved t shirt is the epitome of twatishness, but is the omelette on the left actually wearing it over a checkered shirt? I feel we have stumbled across their biggest cockgobbling horrendacunt yet.

Top, top quality posting there.

Bravo sir. Lit up my afternoon

So, it is now down to two teams who can get more than 106. Let's hope we can put a dent in the Wolves attempt and take three points off them on the 3rd. March. I am allowed to dream aren't I?

Wolves remaining fixtures
Preston A
Norwich H
Fulham A
Reading H
Leeds A
Villa A
Burton H
Middlesbrough A
Hull H
Cardiff A
Derby H
Birmingham H
Bolton A
Sheffield Wednesday H
Sunderland A

Some hard away games there, if they did beat it they would deserve it, but I would say it`s a big ask.

Imagine if luton win every single game the rest of the season and get 106.

Real danger of wolves doing it. I really don't see them losing the 3 games/ 2 games and 2 draws

Are you joking? In the last 8 games they've lost to Nottingham Forest and drawn with Barnsley. Not to mention drawing today with Preston.

They're not going to finish anywhere near 106.

Once they're up they'll take their foot off the gas, and that's when the draws start to happen. In the 106 season, we had 79 points after 32 games, so seven more than Wolves have at the same point in the season. In the last 14 games we had six draws and one loss, after only drawing seven and losing one in the previous 32 games.

This a million times, we got 106 despite taking our foot off the gas near the end of the season, that's how bloody impressive it was.

I think to be fair to the "106 team", they finished with a run of 4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6 games...so not really taking their foot of the gas in my opinion. Let's just agree....QUALITY team that year :D

I think 106 is safe now - very big ask to only drop max of 7 points with the games they have left and the inevitable foot off the gas factor once they are up.

They won promotion so early they had time to take their foot off the gas for a while and then still finish strong to take the record.

We dropped 10 points in our last 9 games.

We dropped 19 points in the preceding 36 games.

Last 6: 14 from 18
Penultimate 6: 9 from 18
Previous 6: 14 from 18

We took the foot off the gas and stuttered when it was obvious to everyone we were there but hadn't quite confirmed it mathematically, and then after our little nerves blip and celebration, we decided to go for the record too.

Such a shame we fell 1 goal short. Given we were confirmed as promoted earlier than anyone ever, it's a bit terrifying that we went on what must be close to if not actually our worst run of the season to get there. We could have maybe been officially promoted in February we were that crazy good without that blip.

Indeed - we would have been the first team to hit 100 points and 100 goals in one season. I'm pretty sure that by missing out by just one goal we came closer to doing it than any other team.

No one's got that close.

Bolton (100 goals and 98 points in 1997) and York (101 points and 96 goals in 1984) are the only 2 who have got within shouting distance.
