Hound 2 more points dropped by Wolves

11 wins and a draw is the minimum to beat the record out of 13 remaining.

Pretty confident we're keeping it.

And still we have the plebs on sky saying this Wolves team is the best the championship has ever seen, unreal.

With 24 hours of sports "reporting" they've got to fill it with something. Anything. Talk for talks sake.

It's funny - up until the Preston game I was starting to get worried. Now I'm almost convinced they won't get too close.

If they do it they'll have thoroughly deserved it.

They should at least compare the 2 sides, our 106 side blew to league away. There is plenty of material there to be discussed. The 106 team vs this years Wolves would have be a great game, I think we would prob just edge it.
The championship is so much stronger than what it used to be 10 years ago, investors are ploughing big money to get to the prem. Its only a matter of time before it gets broken, however we are the benchmark.

The other "great" side at Division 2 level that's being ignored was the Sunderland team that amassed 105 points. Wolves probably won't be too far off that sort of mark by the end of the season.

For the record, the greatest league season record/team could be argued to be Doncaster Rovers from 1946/47 who got 72 points over the course of the season in Division 3 (North). Converting that to 3 points for a win it works out at 105 points but the difference is that they only played 42 league games which averages out at 2.5 points per game compared to Reading's mere 2.3 points per game.

Bit like when the “team of the decade” consisted none of Reading’s 05-06 players or 11-12 players yet it was still full of players from Leicester and other teams that didn’t get that close to the record...

  And people thought Wolves would get anywhere near the record. They're shite and when you consider how much money they've spent, it's really poor.

Thoroughly weak division this year. All the teams that came down from the Prem have been woeful, which is rare. Make its all the more depressing that we've been utter dog shite.

7 points dropped in 3 games and with us at home and then Leeds and Villa away, this will been done and dusted for the season with 9 games to go.

Be nice, if highly unlikely, for us to be the ones to stop them beating the 106 next week

Fulham are decent again though aren’t they? Reckon they’ll be 2nd come May

The obsession with our 106 is tragic.

It was done, who really cares if it's beaten?

Wigan can still get 111 but their next 4 games are Bristol Rovers (5th in the form table) away, Blackburn (1st) away, Scunthorpe (5th) at home and Bradford (7th) away.

Yeah I was following the game too, very happy with that result.

For 106 purposes, y’know.
