FiNeRaIn Quite looking forward to laughing at which one of the wolves goals will be more comical. Perhaps a routine throw in from Gunter to Ilori who slips, the ball goes under his foot and rolls toward Manone who comes running out of the box and boots the ball straight into the wolves striker back over his head into the net. That is exactly the level of shit we’ve come to expect. I will not be the least bit surprised if this actually happens, probably when we are having a brief period on top to make it more laughable too.

That's my problem watching this year

I can accept being outplayed but the number of ridiculous goals
is depressing me

Stupid goals are result of a) over-complicated coaching and b) lack of confidence. Someone like Brian could make a massive difference now just telling them to do the simple things right - remember when Kebe suddenly starting scoring under Brian? I've been told that all Brian set to him was that if he got close to goal he should just hit the ball hard towards goal - i.e. keep it simple ...

Unfortunately Jaap's philosophy is the opposite - make it complicated. Get the ball in your own box, don't hoof it away but try and pass it to your goalkeeper to keep possession ... a noble philosophy but when low confidence / low skills come into play a recipe for disaster.

I would love to see Brian with this squad. Add Long and it would be even better.

We have very good players (but maybe lack height, weight, steel)

Reading to lose 8-0 and Stam to be given a 5 year contract extension to complete the 5 year plan (which I assume is to be relegated to the Southern Premier League).

Hound
John Smith Any chance of postponement? Would we welcome that?

doubt it. Imagine they have undersoil heating (which works)

You do realise that undersoil heating isn't designed to clear snow, don't you? I assume that you think Wembley has shit undersoil heating too?

Every one of your posts makes me

I was more referring to the surrounding areas/roads and general stadium accessibility.

I doubt they'll be many League 1/2 and Conference games this week

Wolves 4-0 Reading HT
Wolves 8-0 Reading FT

Basing this on the fact Wolves are flying high and we're worse than the Bolton side we beat 7-1 a few seasons back

Well we’re going to lose so maybe such an appalling loss would force the club to sack Stam.

Would love a point here but sadly can't see it. Whatever the result I'll be predicting a home win over Bolton on Tuesday.
