Terrible things going on at Dulwich Hamlet - yank property developer landlords have locked them out of their ground, and even tried to trademark the club's name to stop them playing as Dulwich Hamlet.

It would be good to see non-league fans getting behind them.

and when it's pay on the day terracing, you usually don't get a ticket at non-league level.

The term dates back to the days when ticketless cash admission to the terraces was the norm (even for league games), so big games, where you had to buy a ticket in advance (even for the terraces) got called all-ticket games.

Appreciate you including Brackley results and details in here FoC, but do you think anyone else thinks of them as local? They are local to me and as I have said here I've started going in preference to watching Reading but I wonder if anyone else on here is interested.

Its terrible what's happening to dulwich but if it wasn't a London club I suspect it would have zero national media interest.

The Rio Ferdinand connection has certainly helped get it some attention too.

Ive got mixed feelings about what's happening at Dulwich.

Its not nice to see and I hope the find a solution. But this is a club who knowingly got into bed with property developers a few years back and gladly took the cash that came with it. They have also aligned themselves with the far left, holding a day last season that was nothing short of a political rally.

Once you start mixing with the 'wrong people' who have outside agendas, you really are asking for trouble. And trouble is what they've got.

Youth side that took the name Windsor and Eton fc being chased for Windsor fc debts.

Surprised anyone would want that name personally.

always check out their results and (current) upward trajectory. Never seen them, yet feel a tenuous affinty to them due to my over usage of the A43 [always check out their fixture boards on the roadside :)

.... agree they are hardly 'just up the road' but I've included them in part because they are a bit of an anomaly in Pyramid terms - closest club currently playing in the Northern section of the Vanarama - with a second string in the Hellenic - not unlike Oxford City until recently.
Indeed St James Pk is closer in travel time to Aylesbury FC, Dorking, Petersfield or Banbury providing the M40 is behaving itself ,so I've pondered and taken them as a midweek option on occasions above those other venues, hence I'd happily class them as 'local'.
It's also nice to see them irk the northern mafia by being relatively successful too - albeit I think they have a fairly affluent backer.

WARNING picking up plenty of info re Pponed games this PM incl Windsor v Wantage - recommend check before setting out ?

AFC Fylde 7-1 Aldersh!t

... more later but a few other snippets: Woking beaten 1-3 at home by Halifax, Brackley win 1-0 @ Stockport; Highworth lose 2-3 v Flackwell to keep the Hellenic title going; Thatcham win 2-0 away @ Brackley Saints, to close to within 2 points.

Slough Town 2-1 Frome Town

Slough battered them in the 2nd half and should have scored 4 or 5. Not convinced they will succeed in the play offs unless they get home games. Bit lightweight at the back for me.

Nice to win when behind at half time, that’s for sure. Interesting comment re: lightweight at the back, I think they restricted Frome to very few chances although the pen shout looked strong. Hoping for a nice run in the away games now, Kings Lynn on Tuesday night (5-0 down at half time last season)...

Even more amusing about Aldershot's result is that had designated it their Tour of Duty big day out.
Basically they pick one away game a year and make a special effort, not akin to what we did at Scunny a few years back but they have been doing this now for I believe 10 seasons.
In fairness, took a reasonable just over 500 to Lancashire to witness their humiliating 7-1 defeat, smashing!! :D

Starting to get quite farcical for Bracknell as I presume yet another away game of theirs was postponed despite both clubs being happy to have switched the game to Bracknell (Bracknell still have to play Tuffley twice) given the awful weather in the Gloucestershire area. You really have to wonder about the people running leagues.
