Win or no win?

A few draws are possible but can this team actually get ahead and stay ahead?

I've been saying for months I don't see us beating anyone again under Stam, unfortunately a belief that has only grown stronger.

Not a chance....... Is it 6 points from our last 14 league games.....? Why will we now get 8 points from 8?

if (and no doubts he will) Stam stays in charge, the next 4 really do look like 4 defeats I'm afraid.

If that happens, then god knows what mental state the players will be in to try to win the next 3 very important and very winnable (on paper) looking games

The best hope really is Sunderland continue to be just as abysmal and are all but down by the time they face us. A win against them, and one out of Sheff Weds or Ipswich may well be enough. So going to go with 2 wins, and just scraping 4th bottom.

I think it's highly likely that our next points will come against Sunderland. Anything before that is a bonus but probably essential now.

The problem is, sides that are definitely down often start playing with freedom
and get a few results

I would rather they come to us needing to win to have a slim chance

Draw at best I reckon. They've looked decent in their last two games and normally do well at the Madejski

Hound, Sunderland play Derby next on Good Friday but then on Easter Monday host Sheffield Wednesday. Later in the month they travel to us then host Burton Albion.

How many points do they take from those 3 games?
