winchester_royal We may even see Aluko stay on the wing and run at people  :o

We may even see him on the bench. Where he should have been placed based on his performances.

Binfield Royal had to happen as it wasn't going to improve. Hope they can employ someone good enough to save the team from relegation.

Pardew could be available very shortly - how would we feel if it was him?

HE owes us, and needs a chance to rebuild his career out of the spotlight. Knows how to build a club. Have always hated him for the way he left, but needs must now and I'd support him.

Still think the Chinese have no interest in the club? granted its probably 2 months too late, but from thr club statement they wanted to give him time, but just ran out of it.

I'd reckon the club wouldn't have sacked Stam without a rough idea of who is going to take over. Not seen anything suggesting WBA are going to boot out Pardew imminently, and we surely wouldn't dream of paying compensation for him.

Wouldn't be completely against it, but don't think it will happen

Good morning Hound, haven't you noticed, I've turned over a new leaf and am trying to be polite and pleasant to everyone now!!

No Brian McDermott on that list? - If he was fired up for it (after being sacked the last time), I reckon he could get the best out of the players between now and the end of the season but I would question his sanity if he came back again

Agree, they were right in giving him time to try to work things out, and glad they didn't just panic back in the autumn

But the truth is they/Gourlay have misjudged how bad things have got. Any of post - Burton/Brentford/Brum would have been the correct time

I can't disagree with the decision, while being quite pleased that the board were willing to give him more of a chance than most would

yes indeed, and your posts have been perfectly decent and considered for a while now, so fair play

Still thought you might allow yourself a bit of a celebration though :)

Whatever division we're in next season, the real nightmare is over. :|

While Chris Gunter may be hiding in a broom cupboard crying his eyes out, I suspect most of the squad are doing cart wheels like the rest of us.

Now is the time to fill those blue seats again and to do our bit to keep us where we belong.

I have no issues with Japp the man and wish him well but this season has been as poor as I can remember and he should have gone months ago.

We need someone fresh until the end of the season and not one of Stam's tried and grossly under achieved coaching team stepping up.

Now looking forward to Good Friday!

Pardew's "boot up the arse" has not exactly been a raging success at WBA has it?
