Good afternoon everyone, it's not often I agree with DD, but I too am underwhelmed. I fear more of the same Stam non-football if comments by Swansea and Derby fans are to be believed. Still, I shall of course wait and see what unfolds before voicing any opinion other than the above.

His record suggests he does have an immediate - if short term - positive impact, and TBF that is exactly what we need now.

Good news that Ulderink and Bakkiti have been moved on. Wonder if Gibbs and Halabi will join PC?

They had to offer Stam a bumper deal as he was in demand. Not the case here. Prob get outs on both sides

Good luck to him.....Hopefully he can win the likes of me over.....Wasn't my first choice by a long way, but as long as the footballs decent and we are away from the bottom of the table it will keep me happy. If Im honest Im just happy Stams gone and we can try and pull ourselves up again. Hopefully we can dump the BS football before QPR, as having watched them press Fulham so high up the pitch and forcing some many defensive errors and conceding awful goals, we would have been murdered under JS. I think QPR are the best pressing team in the Championship Ive seen. It will be interesting to see how we approach that game.

I'm pretty happy with this. I posted on another thread that I think his style of play could be a good fit for us, in the short term at least. It's nice for Pelle too that his dad is here.

If you want a manager of Clement's stature, you have to make him a fitting offer. If we are only prepared to offer someone a year (+ 8 games), you'd end up with Cotterill.

I hope he doesnt go by how they have previously performed in other seasons. McCleary for one is obviously off pace.

In Seth's defence, if you break your ankle, that's going to affect your pace.
