windermereROYAL
tidus_mi2 Just need Boro to at least level and it's been another good day.

There you go :D

Just need Boro to get a winner now....

Or am I being greedy?

It's a good assumption to make, which would leave 1 from Hull, Reading, Bolton, Birmingham or Barnsley for the last spot.

Think the bottom 2 could still catch Barnsley and Brum if they lose to Bolton, but realistically without a huge turnaround we should be safe from them. Basically 9 points clear with 6 games to go

Yep, that 90th minute equaliser for Boro must have been a real kick in the teeth for Burton.

On another note, I see QPR have hammered Norwich 4-1. All the goals they didn't score against us got scored this afternoon!

Need a run of form yet. Nor am I expecting a sudden transformation. As games come thick and fast. Clement doesn't have the time to impose his preferred style on the team. Saturrdays win merely papered over the cracks.

TBH we could lose every game and it’d take a massive change in form for those 2 to catch us

FYI - We do not win home games on Saturdays!

With 5 points clear and six games to go for the teams below us, we could tissue paper over the cracks and stay up.

Royal Rother I’ve got (what now feels like) a measly 17/2 but can’t believe with our run in we are now 12/1 to go down after fluking a result against QPR, whilst other teams below us actually played really well and picked up point(s) against decent teams at the weekend.

How do you know that teams below us “actually” played well. Be interesting to know.

He doesn’t but that’s doesn’t fit his agenda.

Birmingham won by a single goal which was a penalty against a side with nothing to play for and who’s manager has already said he’s leaving.

Derby gave Sunderland at least 3 of their goals in what was one of their worst performances in recent times.

How can you say we didn't fluke our win when we had just one shot on target
in the whole game, against the other side's 27 shots, at least five on target, at least 11 blocks?

I am THRILLED we won, but very easily we could have lost that by three goals

Mannone has 2 saves to make, so would have been quite unlucky to have lost by 3 goals

They had 27 shots, but the huge majority were speculative long shots

I don't like how the efforts on goal include blocked shots . how the hell can that be counted? it`s so misleading. when it shows onscreen on sky it doesn`t count blocks, take away the 15 QPR had and we are down to 12 efforts on goal.

And that's why stats alone aren't helpful.

QPR could have had 50 shots and troubled Mannone no more.

We earnt a touch of luck through hard work. Yes, if QPR brought their shootung boots we could have lost it. If the ref had brought his brain we could have been three up against 10 men by half time.
