The Prisoner Sunderland 1 Burton 2

Brilliant for us - Burton will believe at home to Bolton in their next game.

If they beat Bolton, Bolton are dragged into the final day scrap and can't pass us because of GD. It would all but secure our safety unless Barnsley also won

Well a win next week will keep us up. Rubbish performance today obviously and unacceptable but none of it will matter if we win next week

Absolutely have to turn up for that one

Burton could still go above us I think - if they won their last two

Live on BBC Berks. Really hope Forest rest everyone for their trip to Cardiff this evening

A win for Forest on Tuesday will not only help Reading but really put the belief into Burton.....

Sunderland’s relegation now confirmed as Burton play Bolton next week and the points have to go somewhere

Trying to think as I can’t remember. Was Reading’s last away league goal in the first half at Forest in late February?

I'd been interested to see a league table of results from the Burton home game onward. I know that we'd be bottom 3, but not sure how far off . .

This season is giving me imposter syndrome as a supporter, we don't deserve to stay up, but we will

Yep though Barnsley could overtake us if we only get one more point. So need 3 really

If the season had started on 23 December then the bottom 7 would be something like...

17 Bolton 21
18 Ipswich 21
19 Leeds 18
20 Forest 18
21 Barnsley 18
22 Burton 18
23 Reading 16
24 Sunderland 15

If you’re wondering about Birmingham, they’ve taken 26 league points since 23 December, as have Hull and Sheffield Wed. Even QPR have managed 27.
