So to go down we need all but one of the following to happen
1. Burton to win both their games
2. Barnsley to win 2 out of 3 games
3. Bolton not to lose again
4. Birmingham to finish the season better than us.

If, of course, we beat the team that are 16 points clear of the playoffs and 13 points clear of relegation with two games to go, you can add 1 game to 1,2,3 which, I believe makes two of them impossible.

Just saying, we are far more likely to stay up than not.

Agree - and both 1 and 3 cannot both happen as they play each other.

Reading fans are what they are. No one is going to change the demographic of the area

The best way for the club to fill the stadium is to attract families etc and plan longer term

If we lose both of our final two, Barnsley would finish above us with 5 points from 3 games. Our GD would be at best -20, and there's, at worst, would be -19.

I was chatting to Keith Wyness, of all people, last night and he seemed confident that we wouldn't go down. I just don't think I could cope with getting relegated by a Warnock-managed Cardiff. I guess with the playoff situation, its likely to be on telly as well.



Watching final score through me fingers next week, I think.

In the past, I would have always said that, in this type of situation, we would be far more likely to pee on Colin and Cardiff's parade. Sadly, most of this current squad appear to lack the required spirit and fight to ensure that happens.

They now see us as having a 3% chance to drop.

They see the bottom 3 as is dropping, obviously Sunderland have already gone.

this is true - same is if Bolton lose on Saturday we are safe no matter what. But obvs those games are at the same time as the Ipswich one, so we'll be going into that game needing 3 points as far as everyone is concerned

Am I the only on that thinks burton could survive, they have Bolton and Preston as there last 2, both very winnable games. That is a big game at the weekend.
