Whatever happens, we've just got to knuckle under, deal with it and get ready to enjoy next season supporting the team. Whether it's against relative minnowa back in League One or against Billy Big Bollocks in the Championship

After the shit show we've had, I don't really understand how you couldn't be resigned to the possibility of the worst happening and sanguine about it by now.

We'll still play 46 league fixtures next season and have a decent chance of winning more than this season.

Stranded
Sutekh Just for the record, if Barnsley don't get more than 1 point from their next two fixtures Reading will be safe even if they lose both of their final games (presuming Bolton don't manage a 10-15 goal win v Forest).

If Barnsley don't win tomorrow, I can't see them picking up another point given their last two games.

Yep a really tough final couple of games especially Brentford.

I'm not sure. I think Burton will win their final two games. Barnsley will not win 2 of their 3 games including tonight though so they'll go down. The good thing is Bolton getting beat by Burton will relegate them instead.

We are pretty much safe if Barnsley get beat tonight

Useful that Colin is losing as well

Could be the chance to ruin his big day, hopefully knowing we are safe. If not keeps Fulham interested for their last game against Brum as well

Shut up Ian, you were the one having a proper meltdown throughout the season about us going down.

That really would be the icing on the cake if, after such an appalling season, we could piss on Colin's parade in his own back yard! Reading would become a trigger word to send him into an absolute manic frenzy every time he heard or read it!

Colin now losing 3-1 and Fulham's goal difference is much better. Has he been sent to the stands yet?

The main downside is that we'd let that foaming bunch of faux hipsters @ Craven Cottage in. I'd let Colin have his day just to see that lot spontaneously combust and bottle the playoffs.

3-0 Forest. And that last goal made them look a thoroughly broken team. Don’t believe for a minute they are capable of 6 points from their last 2

Final score : Nottingham Forest 3-0 Barnsley

Therefore if Barnsley don’t beat Brentford on Saturday Reading are safe whatever they do v Ipswich.

It's a tough call that one. Don't want to see Colin and the Welsh in the top tier either. Are the Welsh still insisting on playing under their own rules in the English PL?
