What was that? What a load of shite. Then to blame the players was poor, they just stuck to an over complicated plan that keeps backfiring.

You only got the job cos of some shite you spoke on Match of the Day.

Go now Please. You irritated Swansea and Derby fans, now it’s our turn.

Also go now Gourlay, you have done nothing for this Club.

Pretty much how we've turned up for matches on numerous occasions this season.

Little point in sacking yet another manager. Need continuity and a long term plan.

I thought that was the plan under Stam?

Should never of sacked McD. Over ambition by the then board. Stam at the end of the day was proven to have no credentials. No further forward than when Clarke left.

Clement did the right thing. Players utterly let him, the fans and themselves down YET AGAIN.

None of this is Clement's fault as he has largely had his hands tied by injuries and suspensions and general crap from of those aren't injured and suspended.

Roll on next season, wherever it is and a chance to see if we have a manager who can get the balance between a passing game of football, tempo and fight correct.

In what way did the fans let themselves down?

Clement's biggest flaw is thinking Swift can play anywhere other than CAM or maybe LF. He's a total liability in our own half.

The 4-4-2 everyone wanted worked well, worst scoreline of the season for us.

Not sure Clement did the right thing calling out players in public, tbh. May be accurate/true, but not wise to go down that road. Frustrated or not, he should steer clear of those waters. Keep in mind, Clement has never won anything anywhere and his record in management is rather mixed.

Its 'none of his fault'? Hmmm. You don't get to hold your hands up and say I'm not responsible for any of this. Most any manager taking over a club mid-season inherits a mess. Nobody forced him to take the job.

If we were on 6-game winning streak, he'd be responsible, right? We talked him up when we beat QPR 1-0.

He needs time, no doubt. Give him next season for sure (if he doesn't resign if we get spanked at Cardiff). But games are too important these days, money in the game, players/employees' jobs and careers on the line, fans paying money, etc.

Its a continual on-going evaluation of everyone. You don't get to expunge 8 league games. They may have some bearing on how confident the club feels in backing you over the Summer.

Why not? That was a pathetic performance - especially the last 20. Maybe if managers stopped pussy footing around their overpaid players and bollocked them in public now and again it might send them a message. They get paid very handsomely to do their job - and this season they havent earned their money in my view. If the team arent capable of doing what has been discussed then teh club should find some players who can, and at the sametime show some passion and leadership while they're at it.

Ha.

So it’s Clements fault this team is unfit and totally incapable of applying themselves? I wasn’t at all enthused by his appointment but this team is utterly without any mental strength or character.

Hes got us 2 wins. Stams easy going yet inflexible zealous football regime got us into this shit.

For those of you that mocked the concept that the teams below us would start picking up points well you’re looking fcuking stupid now.

Without naming names - you know who you are. You fcuking twats.

I’d much rather have Clement getting angry and looking like he gives a oxf*rd than Stam’s usual bullshit. Our players deserve to be slammed in public for that utterly embarrassing gutless performance, they know they should’ve tried a million times harder. I’m massively against abusing players but they deserved it on Saturday.

None of them did really. We're still looking at an unlikely combination of results required for us to go down whilst everything remains in our hands.

We could easily stay up on 43 points when most people were saying we'd need at least 46.

I'll admit Brum did a lot better than I expected. Still below us currentlly though.

Brum had a very gentle run of fixtures to pick up the points they did. Bar Sheff Utd, who seem to have bent over for all of our rivals recently, they’ve not really picked up an unexpected result

Barnsley have won 2 in about ten haven’t they?

Bolton have had a terrible run, and will finish below us

At least those sides are generally showing some fight and their fans can go to their games knowing that they'll at least try to win.

That's not what he said, Sutekh said the "players utterly let the fans down YET AGAIN." (removing the non essential parts of the sentence for clarity)

Maybe it was a calculated risk, he calls out the players before we go to Cardiff, it's not as though the players could deliberately screw up and lose just to make the manager look bad is it?

I'm not necessarily sure the 4-4-2 itself was the problem, it was filling it with our two most powderpuff/lightweight midfielders. He should've put a stronger/bigger midfielder in there alongside Kelly OR Swift.

Like a Leigertwood alongside a Karacan.

I don't think Clement was without fault for Saturday's horror show, but I'm not going pass any judgement on him as a manager until well into next season.
