Double d v2 tidus_mi2 Snowball
I was making the point that even established Top Division clubs can end up in level four
and there is no guarantee that they will come back
Sunderland, Wednesday, Portsmouth have far more history, big fanbases etc
But they've all eventually made their way back to at least the second tier, even Portsmouth who were massively crippled by their poor finances look like it's only a matter of time before they get promoted back to the Championship.
Stockport? Swindon? Oldham?
For the extreme maybe.
They were never established top level clubs. Neither were Wigan, and Blackburn only due to Jack Walker. Wigan's natural level would prob be league 1 or 2 at best.
We could end up like Coventry - its not impossible. But likely is we've just had 3 pretty crap seasons out of 4. This season has been just due to rank bad management and some poor signings/lack of, rather than any lack of investment or stability
We're a championship club who are likely to be playing in the champ again next season, like we have for the last 5
