It’s going to depend on the Stand you were in as it seems the ED Stand is where the discounts are. Which Stand are you in and how old is your child?

FAmily section and 18. So I know he’s gone into a new age category but I was just trying to figure out a direct comparison to last season when including the family of 4 deal from last year as my mate and his son will be renewing again as well.

I probably won’t bother for my son as he’s off to uni in September

Ignoring early bird, and pretending your son is still 17, for comparison - you'd pay £728 between you and your friend - £364 each

At last year's prices, you would have paid £768 for the 4 of you.

So, it's cheaper this year, ignoring early bird

But I don't know what the early bird price was last year. So can't compare exactly like for like.

I paid £409 last year in the Family Stand which was £320 for me and £89 for my 14 year old son but I didn’t get an early bird discount.
Re your son you can still get really cheap match day tickets for him so probably best not to bother with a ST for him.

I'd stay with the people you like unless the view is really unacceptable. It can only take being stuck next to a single massive nob to ruin the whole experience. Whereas I've sat in the same seats for 7 years now and the people around me are one of the many great things about having a season ticket. I sat elsewhere for 11 years, and still really enjoy bumping into the people I know from back then.

As for prices, excellent gesture from the club.

Would be lovely to think it is actually a "gesture" rather than a purely commercial decision (that revenues will be maximised by holding rather than increasing prices). I dunno, maybe I'm too cynical.

I still think that’s top heavy at a tenner a game. Will stick with Mereoak Park and Ride which is an excellent service.
It’s so easy to get back into the M4 from and takes no longer to get onto the M4 compared with parking at the Stadium. It’s half the price too!

I have to disagree Green. There are plenty of clubs in the lower divisions who are probably desperate for supporters through the turnstiles but that doesn’t stop them charging considerably more than we do. Whether it be season ticket prices, bundle prices or twenty’s plenty the club do a lot of positive stuff on pricing and deserve credit for it.

yep, not really sure what Green is getting at. It is a business of course, and no one is saying they are selling tickets out of the goodness of their hearts.

But its a decent effort to keep the ticket prices low, price people into being able to get the games, and also offer the finance option as well. They could probably make more money on the gate by pricing them more expensively, even if it meant lower attendances.

The club is a business at the end of the day and people seem to forget that.

One thing I would suggest to the club is to have Season Ticket only offers relating to food and drink and maybe the cup games too. Perhaps a 10-20% reduction in ticket price, something like that.
