bcubed Like a modern day Italy, happy with 1-0, but with more cynicism and less flair
Portugal are probably my least favourite team.
Kind of like the international Reading 16/17.
Reading 17/18 more like Saudi (just with less fight and passion).

Winston Biscuit Just read that not only did the Argies have some shambolic friendly fixtures pre world cup, draw with iceland and have one of their coaches accused of sexual misconduct by someone in the Argie FA, but somehow their training schedule was tampered with, a message was sent to the players saying training had been moved and so the players were apparently back at the hotel relaxing and playing FIFA while Sampaoli and his training staff are on the training ground wondering where the players are.
It's said that this world cup is being seen a total shambles back in Argentina
Lol

Scutterbucketz Iran’s disallowed goal was absolutely painful to watch. If that had been a team I cared about my foot would have been well through the other side of the screen before the ref had taken the minute and a half to rule it out via VAR.

My biggest (irrational) bugbear with VAR. It's just a big buzzkill.

It’s every goal time a goal is scored you’re thinking it’s going to be disallowed. I’ll not allow myself to truly celebrate just incase I boot a pint glass across the room and then have to go and ignominiously clean it up 3 minutes later.

Sanguine I mean, genome is literally complaining that the right decision was made on the Iran 'goal'. Bizarre.
