Didn’t exactly set the world alight in league one with Bradford the season before last. At 25 he’s hardly young either, that being said Le Fondre managed to make the step up from League Two.

Don't really like his hairstyle if I was being honest.

Coventry City fans say that the club should be looking for around £1.5 million but he is just about to enter the final year of his current contract. Looks like a low risk but potential high reward signing.
It seems the money Stam had last summer isn’t available to Clement though.

I think 1 lower divisions gamble + 1 higher profile striker is prob the way to go

I dunno. Aluko seems to have been good value. 8)

Strikers are weird. One season they look absolutely useless then out of no where they suddenly have a stunning season. Hopefully he just needed a confidence boost

£1.5m eh? Hmm, wonder if we could tempt them with £1.4m cash plus Aluko?

I think this is the most likely outcome, a hugill/Wells sort of signing with McNulty would be a good step in the right direction. I think this may have been where we are going wrong for the last couple of seasons. Signing foreign punts rather than players that know the English leagues.

You’re right, Coventry are a nice harmless club they’ve done nothing to deserve having to watch Aluko.

I'd be happy with that, as long as we do get the high profile striker in. This guy isn't going to bang 20 goals is he. Where's the ambition?
