Need to be a bit more clinical, but that's pretty good going. Croatia definitely have a goal in them and we've certainly got a mistake in our defence. I'd like us to go long a bit less often... too many haven't really given the forwards a chance.

Keeping the tempo up though will take some doing and no doubt Croatia will improve in the second half.

If it stays 1-0 the more nervy England will get as the game goes on. Obviously Croatia will get more attack minded the longer the game stays at that score which should mean more space opening up so really need to capitalise and get a second as soon as possible.

Also Croatia aren’t half giving it large to the ref, really hope he doesn’t try equalising something unnecessarily.
