Was he? Don't think anyone knew that for sure as he'd played for Ajax first team as well as a mass of games for Jong Ajax plus Stam included him with the first team squad from the off.

This guy is 20, has only a handful of Jong Ajax games and given Reading have rather a lot of first team cover defensively at the moment I can't see him being involved for a good while yet. Happy to be proved wrong of course
