I think the Rouge is smoking something funny if he thinks there is only a 24% chance of finishing in the bottom 7 (18th or below). I would say nearer 50%. And that could be much higher if we lose the next 2 (very possible) as it will be hard to come back from losing 5 on the bounce.

I'd say closer to 60%. And I'd stick our chances of top 2 at about 0.01%
