Bottom of the table as it stands, cue mass hysteria on social media if it stays like this.

Zip
Woodcote Royal It’s one thing Moore not starting but having O’Shea on the bench ahead of a player we value in excess of £10m is frankly ludicrous unless there are fitness issues.

+1. If Ilori were to be injured we would have McShane and O’Shea at centre back

You mean, if Ilori were to be injured we'd have McShane and Blackett at centreback and Richards at left back, surely?

It's an odd one. It would be two games that we probably ought to have won, and lost them both.

Our fault for having a R that comes after Q.

Bacuna now on for Meyler, who looked slow, ineffective, and lacked mobility. When Forest broke in to the box for the goal, he was badly done for pace, and it cost us. Not a great day for our two signings, Baldock and Meyler.

Richards on for Blackett, 8 mins left.

This has the same depressing feel as last season. Plenty of endeavour but no end product.

Not too worried if we lose this really. Didn’t expect anything but looks like it’s been a fairly even game and we’ve had shots in target etc

Be definitely good to reintegrate Moore asap and get some more minutes into the legs of Baldock

Season really starts next weekend for me, need to start picking up some wins

Nope. Why have a centre back on the bench and not play him if another centre back goes off injured. Does Clement see Blackett as a possible centre back? Not convinced he does

And Bodvasson still needing shedloads of chances to score.

It'll take a bit of time for Meite, Baldock and McNulty to settle in, Meite isn't exactly ideally suited to right wing, and we've got no Moore or Obita.

We're not conceding many at least, and we've had a few shots. These first two games were always going to be tricky and we're a little unlucky not to have got somewhere between one and four points from them.

No need to be overly concerned for a good few games yet.

Because the centreback you're playing at left back and the left back on the bench are closer to your first team plans, fairly obviously.

I'm hoping he does just lack fitness. If we go through the season with Bod as first choice, we will have problems.

Oh well, glad I wasn't able to go today.

On the brighter side - 132 points still possible

Usual problem. Doing ok until we concede, then it's pretty much game over.

Nearly all the managers in the championship seem to have a plan B or are able to have a plan to give it a go.........Sadly ours doesn't.

Except for the fact we lost, overall it was a good game; we played well. Barrow was unplayable. But he can’t be the only outlet. Yiadom was excellent. Can’t help but feel if Swift had been in the game we would have clawed a point out of that one.

Probably slightly better than expected so far, suggestions Derby and Forest would beat us comfortably, but both pretty tight affairs and unlucky to lose against the Rams.

Could do with a good cup showing against Brum with a slightly reshuffled side. Can't let that luck stay against us.

Sounds like a typical Bod day.

Would definitely like to see McNulty getting a full 90 on Tuesday. He does seem to be the one natural finisher we have on last seasons evidence.

Not sure how Kelly played today but would rather see Bacuna alongside Meyler if we are going to play 442

That was a poor game. We have next to no quality at the top of the pitch whatsoever. Bodvarsson is useless and him up front doesn't work.

Forest were average and took their only real chance.

Rant over. Will put my views of the game later.
