The last six seasons we've been away in the 3rd round  I wouldn't even mind if they were exciting ties, but fellow championship teams isn't exactly mouth watering (albeit we wouldn't be an attracting proposition to 99% of teams). Stevenage last year wasn't exactly much better considering we'd played them recently in the FA Cup. This year will continue the same pattern with a away tie to a championship team (pick a name out of a hat, I guess Villa this year)

Old Man Andrews I'd really like an interesting away trip. Maybe Plymouth because I've never been there. Slough away is the dream the though.

I remember going to Plymouth about 20 years ago and we took nearly 3,000, and half way into the second half this solo Plymouth fan appeared on the pitch near the half way line and launched a kamikaze run and attack on our end behind the goal.It was hilarious as he launched himself into a gap in our fence , he was met with a barrage of pies, pasties and anything else that could be thrown at him as he was led away fighting the old bill as it was then, priceless.

URZZZZZZZZ I’ve seen the draw, it’s Hull away.

Would probably go to that.

I would also really like to go to Grimsby or Stockport

Good shout for West Ham....never been to the London Stadium.
Home Man City (Id rather go out to them than a Norwich or a Derby)
Away Arsenal (for the dosh) or West Ham (because Ive never been there )

I don't want to risk a lower league side because I think there more than a couple of lower sides that will really fancy their chances....

That was tremendous. We all watched him running towards us from the half way line thinking "a steward or a copper will stop him in a minute......nope......he's still coming". He dived through the gate in the perimeter fence and just started windmilling before being dragged away. TBF, the whole day was pretty old school. Shedloads of police and one of the few times I've seen police dog handlers in the stand forming a line between us and the Plymouth fans. We lost 3-1 and it pissed it down too. Left early because it was miserable and quite obviously going to kick off outside.

The filth. At home. Beat them. Mourinho explodes and is extruded into outer space by his own fury. Come on. Magic of the cup. Greatest competition. On our way to Wembley. José orbiting Jupiter.

The reality will be closer to whatever mediocre championship team we've already played in the League Cup.

Away.

Draw with them and play them 5 times in a season.

It was eventful, but dreamy is probably pushing it.

Just eyeballed the second round. Think away at any of them would have their perks.

That’s not how I remember it. My memory was he had been caught by the old bill was being escorted around the pitch right in front of the Reading fans who ran down the front. One ding fan climbed the fence straddled over and booted The Plymouth fan in the face, and jumped back in to the group. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen watching football. It was a proper old school day out loads of ding on a soaking wet open terrace. Dylan scored and we believe the first ever player to pull his shirt up over his face?

With our current bunch of useless wasters, we don't want to be anywhere near a non-league side, unless we desire to be lead headline in January. Ideal draw is one that will bring in some money, as that's the only possible positive outcome I can see.
