Of course it could be worse. That's been said at about the last three changes.

Listening to his interview. He's saying we've got plenty of players who can pass the ball and control the game so we need to try to do that. And we've also got plenty of quick players who can exploit space. I'm not sure I can really agree with that based on what I've seen over the last 18 months.

He does seem to say things that suggest he's got an appreciation for how hard the league and job is at least, although how much that actually tallies with reality is obviously something we'll see.

This appointment is baffling. Why on earth give the job to someone who will have little knowledge of the English game, let alone the Championship. Does not stay at any club very long (13 games on more than one occasion). Does not know the players already at the club, let alone players to replace some of them in January. It would have been better in my view to get someone in who knows these things. However, having said that, he is the one the owners decided on, so I will back him and hope he can keep us in the Championship. I see he is bringing 4 backroom staff with him, including a fitness coach, Hopefully, he will be able to sort out the shambles of never ending injuries that has plaqued us for the two or three years.
