andrew1957 Probably a player better suited to the European game. Would be a good move for us and him if it happens.

Sutekh Apparently one bid knocked back. Reading reportedly looking for something around 3m Euro for him.
One hopes Reading’ll have the sense to have a suitable replacement lined up before letting him go though.

Yep agreed. He is not suited to Championship football.

2 world wars, 1 world cup Never really settled.
Perhaps he'd be happier in Portugal.
I hope his injury is ok.

Do you realise that Ilori's dad is English, he was born in London and only moved to Portugal when he was 7? He's still got a London accent.
I like Ilori but he's he's not a player we can't afford to lose and as other's have said, his style isn't suited to a relegation scrap. £3m would be excellent business.

Jagermesiter1871 How much did we apparently pay for him?

Snowflake Royal I really rate Ilori. He oozes quality and calmness, but is way too prone to being too calm or making daft costly decisions. I think he could well become an excellent player and in a better team with the right bruiser alongside him would shine.
In fact I prefer him to Moore who has gradually become just quite lacklustre.
But, if we can get £3m for him, then it's really a no brainer. I'd rather we sold Moore or Blackett though.

Osho or McIntyre seem more than adequate (presumably Osho if we are wanting a right sided player).
