linkenholtroyal I thought it might be fun if we all guessed the points we think we will end on and the position we will be in at the end of the season.
I will put everyone’s together and we will see who is right at the end of the season. I will only count peoples guesses up until kick off against Bolton.
My guess is
20th on 48 points

Denver Royal What's the prize? We could all put a shilling in. Just saying...
(Then again, I'm still waiting on John Smith for my pint from last season )

Snowball I'm betting a lot on RFC winning at Bolton
I think the psychological lift (if we win) will be MASSIVE
A defeat would be equally devastating.
But I think we are a hugely better team than under Clement. I would expect a big upturn in form and points per game anyway. I worry about Bolton, solely because of the psychological affect of a defeat.
I also think that IF we win at Bolton, relax a little, managed to beat Villa well, we could go on a McDermott type winning run. We are mentally fragile (but getting better) and I think we could easily become a winning side and next year's dark-horses
1-3 W Bolton Away
2-0 W VILLA
1-1 D Wednesday Away
2-0 W BLACKBURN
2-0 L Sheffield United Away <<<<
3-0 W Rotherham
1-2 W Ipswich Away
3-0 W WIGAN
0-1 L LEEDS <<<
0-1 L Stoke Away <<<
2-0 W PRESTON
3-1 L Hull Away <<<<
3-1 L Norwich Away <<<
1-1 D BRENTFORD
1-1 D Bristol Away
1-1 D WBA
1-1 D Boro Away
2-0 W BIRMINGHAM
W 8
D 5
L 5
29 Points from 18 = 1.61 ppg
Final Total 52 Points 16/17/18th

Hound Pretty filthy run in from Hull onwards
Reckon we’ll be 5th bottom with about 45 points

The filth or otherwise of that run in will depend on how the team does in the next 8 or so games, if the team click and we get on a roll then they we will look at that very differently. If we pootle along like we are now, then yeah, ouch.
For my money, I think we'll pick up another 25 points W7 D 4 L 7 to get to 48 and finish 19th.
Ascotexgunner 37 Points.....22nd

Forbury Lion Wearing Rose Tinted Glasses - We're not mathematically out of winning the title - If we win all our remaining games that will put us on 77 points, which admittedly looks a little low for a title winning team but other results could go our way.
Wearing Shot Tinted Glasses - We're on 23 points now, we won't pick up anymore and we'll be hit with a 20 points deduction for going into administration, So 3 points.
I feel confident in saying we'll finish somewhere in between those two scenarios.
