Do bracknell own the ground? With the amount of money spent on doing up the town recently i'm sure the value of that land has increased

Who owns it?

There was a £400k mortgage advanced by Devon and Cornwall Securities Ltd to Bracknell Town Football Club Ltd on Larges Lane in April 2018 at 15 to 20% over Base Rate and a separate Fixed and Floating Charge on everything registered by Metro Bank on 1st Feb 2019.

Maybe the mortgage has been settled, but no document has been filed at Companies House yet indicating that.

The latest accounts filed up to August 2017 don’t indicate any property transactions or any significant profit. The August 2018 accounts will be interesting to read.

Royal Rother 2500 but seeing as it is all flat terracing with no gradient I suspect only half that number would actually see a ball kicked.

And they need 4000 for the National League don't they?

Rather unsurprisingly, Winchester City v AFC Totton, due to take place this evening, has been postponed. Its been chucking it down all day here. It's a shame, we normally get big crowds for Friday night local derbies.

Slough have signed Tommy Wood on loan from AFC Wimbledon, and Dan Roberts on dual-reg from Windsor (to have a look at him from time to time by the sounds of it).

Yep, Dan Roberts is a very decent striker at our level but he’s not in Ben Harris’ class so don’t think he will be good enough for Slough. (We signed him from Bracknell on dual reg at the start of the season to give him games / experience. Presumably they aren’t interested now.)

Fair enough, I guess it’s good for both clubs as Windsor get to keep him but on occasion he’ll get to show what he might be able to do at a higher level. I’ll report back if he gets game time today at Hampton.

No Windsor game today but (with no horse racing either  ) I shall still pop down to Stag Meadow to see Virginia Water v Bishops Cleeve.

(Unless the cricket seems more inviting come 2.30pm)

Hendo Might pop down to Basingstoke v Stains tomorrow as Lady Hendo is out at the cinema with a friend and my mate cancelled on London drinks

Stains are bottom of the league with only 9 points :?

Hope you went, a final score of 10-3 to Basingstoke sounds like something you’d regret otherwise.

Football won.

VW 1-1 Cleeve

Bishops Cleeve are another contender for the title but are absolutely nothing special. Little difference between top and bottom in the Hellenic, no real whipping boys, no outstanding teams.

Hungerford 5-0 St Albans. Didn’t see that coming against a team on the fringes of the playoffs. Hungerford were very good and probably should have had a few more. They look a decent team helped by some loanees from Birmingham and Bristol Rovers. They have now squeezed outside the relegation zone, Calum Willmoth made an appearance from the bench after 17 months out through injury.
