Christ alive, is this what you poor buggers have to put up with?

That was absolutely dire.

LOL 1-0 up after one of the worst halves I can remember. I think we bored Blackburn into giving the ball away

How often did we get the ball to Oliviera? Three (3!) times at a guess.

Miagzga and Moore and a phenomenal unit though

That is the worst 45 minutes I've seen this season, Blackett gave the ball away about 8 times in the first 7 minutes, Ejarea's Legs are just all over the shot, no midfield strength, other than the back 3 GK, CB's, the rest arn't at the races.

Over the moon being 1-0 up would have preferred to score on 90 minutes.

Well that was an awful, miserable performance.

Totally outplayed all over the pitch for 45 minutes

But 1-0 up :?

Reading really need to do something about their formation/tactics in the second half as I can’t see them holding out playing like that.

Our best forward that half was Yiadom....and he's the bloody fullback.

Tbf Blackburn creates very little. Nearly everything came from us pathetically losing the ball 40 yards from goal

Midfield were absolutely woeful. Back to the bad old days of watching Swift and Kelly chasing shadows and losing it the minute they get the ball. Surely Baker is a better bet in that DM mid?

Aluko improved a bit, sadly the best of the midfield 5 despite being poor.

Moore, Miazga and Martinez all look very solid

Holy shit weve scored a goal. Who saw that coming? Hopefully some confidence back after that. I would be tempted to take Ejaria off immediately and put Barrow on. Then think about putting Baker on for Kelly shortly after....

Shocking first half. Utterly pedestrian and half arsed. Yiadom has been okish, Blackett hasn't been awful but has put in poor crosses and given the ball away quite a lot. Meanwhile the rest of the team between Moore & Miazga and Oliveira have been some combination of fukawful or barely noticeable.

Ejaria's main contribution has been getting booked. Aluko is back to his absolute worst. Swift has ponced around a lot, Kelly looks like he's stepped up three age categories and I keep forgetting Richards is even playing.

And then I don't even get to see Swift score a great goal to paper over the cracks of his performance. This sucks arse.

Apart from the winning bit. That's quite nice, but rather confusing.

Another thing. I haven't seen an awful lot of us under Gomes. Utd, this and the odd half or 15 minutes here or there. But I'm starting to notice a consistent theme of having literally no idea where pretty much the entire of the midfield five are supposed to be playing and what their shape is. It's an absolute shambles of disorganised floaters.

Whole team seems to be playing 10 yards deeper than Blackburn - just letting Blackburn play. Blackburn doing the opposite and pushing up on us. Don't think the problem is anyone player just the whole team sitting back . . .

Weird one that. Ejaria central and Meite right? Fine with Aluko leaving the pitch though.

Done more in the first couple of minutes than the entire first half.

I know he scored but why is Swift strolling around?
