Hound We’ll go above Wigan if we win

Not if they win at Derby midweek

yuomi Good grief that was a difficult watch.

Thanks for the stream. A huge roar when Barrow scored but we were desperately poor in that second half. Martinez saved us and with better finishing Ipswich should have won that.
A massive three points and Millwall right in the mix now.
Rotherham have a horrible run of games coming up so we have to take advantage of that.

Hound That was painful. Huge 3 points

It was all a bit scary. We really need Rinomhota back because we have no one to win the ball in midfield.

Watched the last 30 - was horrible. Didn’t play too well but did seem to push forward more than last week

Martinez def saved us. Great keeper.

TBF if they even draw we still go above them on goal difference if we win.

We were so poor defensively. In injury time Chambers was totally unmarked and should have buried the header. What the hell was going on? Pleased for Barrow. Hopefully he will take some confidence from that.

Good to see Nelson bag another. And a McCleary assist too, I believe.

Much needed points. Decent chamce of staying up now. Dare I believe?

God how nice would it be to finish the season positively with a few wins!

Another serious must-win next Saturday.

Without Oliviera is gonna be a tough call

Can we finally pick up back to back wins for the first in over a year?
I’d bring Barrow in and play Meite up top given Oliveira is likely to be out.

Yep. Basically same team again but Barrow in for Oli

Assuming that is that he and Rino are out

Just seen that last minute miss (couldn’t watch the stream any longer by then)

Oh my word. Really got away with one there

Biggest thing about football class is taking chances. We took two and deserved to win because of it.

(Or you could say Ipswich deserved to lose because they didn’t take their chances)

But after the first 10-15 minutes until HT we utterly outclassed them and they looked like a poor L1 side at the back.

Not exactly sure why we sometimes look really good but not ruthless.

Looked to me like our players felt it was “too easy” in that 30-35 minutes. There will come a game where they will all go in like they did for Swansea 5 on target, 4 goals)

That what really concerns me right now, apart from the last minute goals we concede, Sheff wed missed a sitter, Rotherham had a good chance just past the post and today. we certainly concede lots of chances in injury time.

We do and I don’t know why we switch off like that. On the plus side that’s two late winners in recent weeks.

Balance that by the fact we could have had loads more points had we taken more of our chances......

Its not switching off imo, its just the inevitable effect of pressure combined with rock bottom confidence

We did exactly that against Rotherham

Period from 20-45mins when we took the piss and played keepball. Could have been 2 divisions apart

But no good if we aren’t going 2 or 3 up in that period

...but at the end of the day......we won

Respect to Nelson...think after encountering Mings and Villa a few weeks back.....and then encountering that same incompetant referee again today...he was rather restrained in his goal-scoring celebrations....some might’ve rushed up to him and say....”kiss my mask”

Totally agree, Hound

Feels to me we just need one “rock” in midfield, a Captain Courageous, who not only wins ball and breaks down opposition moves, but also has energy and leadership to get 2% more out of a bunch of individually capable players.

I would love a Leigertwood in this side
